Oxford United's promising defender, Mole, has left the club to join Banbury United on a one-year contract. The 19-year-old has been with Oxford since the age of nine and developed into a key leader among their youth ranks, captaining the under-18 side before becoming a regular in the under-21 setup. Mole has also gained experience in Banbury's division, having turned out for Southern League Premier Division Central side Redditch United on loan. He adds versatility and determination to Banbury's defence, and boss Kelvin Langmead is delighted to have him on board. Langmead has been determined to get a host of fresh faces early on in June, and Mole is the latest addition to the team. The other new signings include striker pair Levi Steele and Joey Evans, who are expected to bolster Banbury's goalscoring output. With Mole and Jackson making it four new signings in total, Langmead has added a mix of experience and youth to the team. More new additions can be expected in the coming days and weeks, as talks continue behind the scenes.
