Will Vaulks Leaves Oxford United for Tranmere Rovers
Oxford United midfielder Will Vaulks has left the club to join League Two side Tranmere Rovers, marking the end of a two-year stint with the U's. The 32-year-old midfielder, who spent his youth career at Tranmere, made 88 appearances for Oxford United, scoring two goals.
What Happened?
Vaulks' last goal for Oxford United came in the final home game of last season, a 4-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday. He scored his first goal for the club on 14 January 2025, in a 1–1 league draw away against Plymouth Argyle.

The U's are currently under a temporary transfer embargo and will not be able to replace Vaulks immediately. The midfielder was also a key figure in the Oxfordshire community, using his personal story to establish the award-winning Can We Talk? suicide prevention campaign.
