Oxford United are launching a brand-new half-time challenge for the 2026/27 season – Think. Sprint. Score. The fast-paced competition will see two United fans go head-to-head in a test of football knowledge, quick thinking, and speed.

What's the Challenge?

The game has two rounds: Round One: THINK Five questions will be ready on the big screen, starting with the hardest and getting easier. Both contestants have a buzzer. As soon as one contestant buzzes in and answers a question, Round One is over. Answer correctly and you’ll earn a three-second head start in Round Two. Get it wrong and your opponent gets the three-second advantage instead. Not sure? You can choose not to buzz in - but once someone answers, the quiz is finished and it’s time to SPRINT!

How Does it Work?

Round Two: SPRINT Both contestants then take a football each to the West End touchline. The player who earned the advantage sets off first, with their opponent released three seconds later. The challenge? Dribble the ball towards the halfway line, around the cone on the centre spot, and race towards the East Stand goal and score! The first player to find the back of the net wins.

What Can I Win?

The winner will take home a matchday prize, with prizes rotating throughout the season. These could include signed shirts, hospitality experiences, Club Shop vouchers, and other exclusive Oxford United prizes. Register your interest now, and you could be taking on the challenge at an upcoming Oxford United home game!
