Oxford United have launched their 2026/27 home kit, the first in a three-part ‘Inspires Series’ celebrating the city’s artistic legacy. The shirt, designed in collaboration with local street artist Andrew ‘Mani’ Manson, blends the club’s iconic yellow and blue with a subtle pinstripe pattern, reflecting Oxford’s vibrant cultural scene. The team, currently 22nd in the Championship with 47 points from 46 games, hope the kit will inspire a turnaround in their recent form (LWLLW).

What’s new in the design?

The 2026/27 home kit features a V-neck collar with navy trims and sleeve cuffs, crafted from Macron’s Eco Lanman jacquard fabric. The ox head emblem sits prominently on the chest, while the back of the neck displays the club’s founding year. Mani’s bespoke artwork, inspired by Oxford’s creative energy, adorns the shirt, symbolizing the connection between the city and the club.

Why art inspires the kit

Oxford United partnered with Mani, a lifelong supporter, to capture the city’s cultural identity. His street art, a familiar sight across Oxford, transforms public spaces and embodies the spirit of the club. The kit’s launch at OVADA arts centre underscores the fusion of football and creativity, celebrating Oxford’s unique blend of history and innovation.

What’s next for Oxford United?

With the new kit now available, Oxford United prepare for their next fixture against Aldershot Town on July 21. After a challenging season-45 goals scored and 59 conceded-they aim to rebuild momentum. The club’s creative collaboration with Mani reflects their commitment to community and culture, even as they focus on improving their 22nd-place standing in the Championship.
